Here are the rules of Order of Zeronos. Note that we have the right to change the rules at any time, and that it is your responsibility to be updated. The rules have become much stricter than before, and we expect all users to follow it, and read through it carefully. We will give no "second chances" to people anymore. As this site is of our property, we have every right to set the rules and enforce the rules on others.

Habeas Corpus: With this rule intact, a mod or admin will tell you which rule(s) you have broken, before banning or warning you.
Temporarily Suspension of this Rule: The only way this rule shall be suspended, is when a group of members are working together to spam, troll, and/or criticize the community, and it can be temporarily suspended by an Admin and mod, and can be reinstated by an Admin or Mod.

-When you create a nickname, you should choose it carefully.
-If you mess up, this does not give you the right to make another account, please ask a moderator for help.
-You can change your name every year, if you want.
-No vulgarity in your name will be allowed, even if it is censored.
-No sexually related terms are allowed in your name, even if it is censored.
Penalty: Your name will be changed by the moderators, and you will have to wait for another year before changing it again
Punishment for continuing: If you do continue, PERMANENT BAN

Maximum size: Please do not make your avatar exceed the following pixels...
-150 pixels by 150 pixels
Penalty: Your avatar that does not abide by the rules that are set will be deleted.
Punishment for continuing: We will disable your ability to add avatars.

Maximum size: Please do not make your signature exceed the following pixels...
-500 pixels by 250 pixels
Multiple Signatures: The limits of signatures that can be used are 2 signatures,
-Please do not exceed the limit
Worded Signatures::
-Do not use vulgarity or sexually related terms
-Worded signatures that are in a picture file must abide by the pixel rule
Penalty: Your signatures that do not abide by the rules that are set will be deleted.
Punishment for continuing: We will disable your ability to add signatures.

Spam: Pointless messages that do not related to the topic or is used for bothering the community, annoying others, or for messing around the forums
Penalty: You will be addressed by a mod or admin about your spamming and will be warned
Punishment for continuing: You will be permanently banned

Trolling: Posting messages that insult our members of any rank, insult the reputation of the Order of Zeronos, and insulting our subbing
Penalty: You will be warned, your message will possibly be deleted, and you shall be dealt with as soon as possible
Punishment for continuing: You will be permanently banned

Note: Do not play dumb. We know, and you know the differences between all of these types of criticism, and we will ban you for messing around, this is no laughing matter.
It is okay to use...
Criticism: The act of expressing disapproval; finding fault
Constructive Criticism: The act of giving advice with criticism that is useful and intended to help or improve something, often with an offer of possible solutions
You will be punished if you use...
Negative Criticism: The act of expressing disapproval in a negative or vulgar thought that is used to offend or mentally attack a person or group
Insult: The act of personally attacking a person or group to affect or offend them
Penalty: Banned for a week and you must write a letter of apology to the person and/or group, or you will receive the punishment
Punishment for Continuing: Permanent ban

Cyber Bullying: Do not act like you are above others, we are all equal. Do not mentally assault or insult anyone.
Penalty: One will receive a notification, and with one warning, you will be banned for a month or 2 months at max.
Punishment for continuing: An entire year ban

Defaming: The act of lowering the status of a person in a community or accusing a person of wrong-doing when the person is innocent. Do not even dare do any of this, as it will be major punishment.
Charging: This is a really serious matter. If you are accused, you will be investigated until you are found innocent or guilty. Your account will lose the ability to post and read threads until the final judgement.
Penalty: Banned for a month
Punishment for continuing: Permanent Ban

Defaming: The act of hacking into someone's account and posting comments, pretending to be that person, or to use that name on another site in order to abuse the user.
Charging: Your IP address will be investigated, and if it's the second case, then we will be contacting the website for an order of removal for that account.
Penalty: Permanent Ban
Punishment for continuing: Can we go further than a permanent ban?

Random Topics: Making a topic that is not related to the topic, a topic that is pointless in meaning, meant to increase post counts, or doesn't make any sense
Penalty: You will receive a warning, and your topic shall be locked
Punishment for Continuing: Banned for 2 days

Double Posting: Do not post in the same thread simultaneously and continuously within one day
Exceptions: If you are posting in fanfics, and it is your own topic, then it is allowed. Other than that, there is an edit button.
Penalty: You will be warned or a mod/admin will merge your posts
Punishment after continuing: You will be banned for 2 days, then 4 days ban, then 1 week ban, and then 2 weeks ban, and then permanent ban if posting is serve enough

Off Topic: Do not get off topic as it can cause confusion, and you will stray others away from the main topic
Penalty: You will receive three notifications, then a warning and will be asked to stick with the real topic, but this will be lightly enforced
Punishment for Continuing: Banned for a day

Word Count Rule: If you think you can give a thoughtful post, question, or answer in a few words, then it's okay. If you post something that does not answer or is thoughtful post in a few words, then that will be counted as spam. Also do not post anything obvious, it is basically counted as spam and is not needed.

Download links: Do not post any sort of download links to MP3's, RAW's or other group's fansubs
Links: Do not link to spamming sites, virus infested sites, unrelated sites, or other fansub group sites
Penalty: You will be warned and your post will be deleted, however if it causes harm (viruses, spyware, etc.) then you will be banned permenantly
Punishment for continuing: Permanent Ban

Pornography: Do not post anything that is porn, sexual references, sexual terms, related to sexual activities, or of nudity
Penalty: Instantly permanent ban and deletion of post
Punishment for continuing: There won't be any continuing since you will be banned before that

Advertising: To advertise anything, you must get permission from an Administrator before you post. We are not a site which you may use for your own benifits.
Penalty: Advertising without permission will give you a warning and deletion of post
Punishment for continuing: Permanently banned from this site

Begging: Please do not beg for our subs to be released faster, we work on the subs on the time we have
Penalty: You will be addressed by a Moderator and warned
Punishment for continuing: You will be banned for 5 days, that will teach you patience. If you beg once more, you shall be banned permanently.

Fansub Groups: If you wish to talk about other fansub groups' content, then you may do so. However you may not advertise/promote for that fansub group, nor can you "inform" the release of their fansubs to others. Only the administrators/moderators have the right to deal with other fansub groups who are causing trouble. We have nothing to do with other fansub groups apart from those in our "Links" section, even if they are subbing the same fansubs, nor are we rivals.
Penalty:
-If you cause trouble for groups, you will be banned for a week
-If you become an advertiser/promoter for a fansub group, you will be banned permenantly
Punishment for continuing: If you continue to stir trouble, you will be permanently banned

Spoilers: It is okay to post spoilers, only if they fulfill these requirements
-they are posted in a topic that reads "Spoiler or Spoiler Discussion"
-the spoiler is not already posted

You may not include spoilers in your nickname/avatar/signature as well
Penalty: Your post will be moved to the right topic
Punishment for continuing: You will get a warning, then three will get you banned for 3 days maximum

Episode Discussions: If you are posting a non-spoiler or if you want to post about an episode we released, please post in the episode discussion threads.
Penalty: If you do not follow this rule, your post will be moved to the right thread.
Punishment for continuing: 3 continuations and you will receive a warning. If you gain three, you will be banned permenantly.

Stealing: Do not steal our episode links and post it on other websites without our permission. Also, do not sell our subs or claim that it is yours. It is exceptional to upload to a video stream site as long as you credit us in the description. Do not remove the splash or our site's link if that's the case.
Penalty: You will receive a warning and will be addressed by a mod.
Punishment for continuing: With only 2 warnings, you will be permanently banned.

Cheating
Cheating: Do not even try to cheat during competitions, we will find out. If you are caught, you should know what the penalty shall be.
Penalty: Permanent Ban
Punishment for continuing: You can't continue because you will be banned before that

Here are some frequently asked questions about our fansubs.

What are "fansubs"?
Fansubs in general is when a series or a movie is subtitled by a fan of a series. It means that we are not any sort of formal company nor "official" subbers. We translate Japanese series into English.

How much do they cost?
20000000000 Dollars. Nah, just kidding. They're free.

What kind of software do you use?
We use a lot of softwares. But since we have borrowed them from the MI6, we are not supposed to tell you. We have signed a contract of secrecy.

Can I join your fansub group?
Of course! We have many jobs available. Lots don't need any skills, some need a lot of skill. Just send HyperZeronos a Private Message.

I've found a site where they distributed your subs. Should I download it?
It's probably going to be either a republished fansub of ours, or a fake. It might have some virus in it, so I suggest you download it from Order of Zeronos, not risk downloading from there.

How do I download your fansubs?
Well, first go to the downloads page. Then you'll have two options: one is to download off BitTorrent, or the other is to use Direct Download Links. Try them all out and see which one's the quickest for you. The instructions are here.

Can I upload your releases to stream sites? Is watching it from there fine?
You are allowed to upload it to stream sites, as long as it doesn't ask you for money. Fansubs are FREE. We can't stop you guys, and I think it's fine in means of both advertising for ourselves, and spreading the joy. But if you can download, then please download, not be lazy and just watch it online. It's good for us (more seeders = more joy) and good for you (good quality). But if you wish to upload our episodes onto stream sites:
1. Don't cut off the beginning splash
2. Credit us in the informaton of the video part.

Can I re-release your releases?
No. Please ask people to come here, not just re-encode it.

Some of the links in the downloads are split into more than one parts, and end with .001 and stuff. How do I watch it?
Use HJSplit to combine them. They have been split because the maximum size of the upload of the site was smaller than the size of the file.
