If there is, I cant wait for it Also, Kira didn't just die so did L and some of his prodigys took over then Kira died so L died before Kira [in the anime aleast]

you mean protege right? yup. in the early episode of manga. it shows that N owns DN..and another shinigami gave a DN to someone else

LOL Many people also thought that why got Death Note 3 ? They thought L died in Death note 2 ? Unbelievable , 23 days can do so many things hm hmm .
And the last name was L , wrote by Himself as he stole the Death note XD.

but I guess thats the only way he could change the world

the movie takes place before death note, and in his 23 days before dieing. In the end of Death not 2 you will see his fall after he regards Lights' father. and in the anime Mello died because of that Near can finally trap kira. Near explains it...that he wouldn't caught kira if it waren't for Mello. and if there will be another sequel to the anime I think there will be a new shinigami since Ryuk is ground in the shinigami world. I saw an anime that tells the whole story of death note in the end Ryuk tells this shinigami that if he wants to see something fun Drop his notebook and see what will happen. then there is a glimpse of ryuk's death note written in it Light Yagami and a scene on L's grave where Light is laughing like a possessed person . so if any chance death note 2 will come out it will be a whole different story...

the Movie is fun but the ways the bad guys are dealt with is somewhat hollow...

well overall for the movie I'll give it 8/10
