I finished "Snowglobe 7" yesterday. It was really cool. Great twists, storyline, etc. The alien creatures were quite interesting. I'll be reading "Ghosts Of India" soon. Just taking a few days off.

I finished Chapter Five of "Ghosts Of India".

My dad is about to read "The Resurrection Casket" thanks to some convincing from me since it's got elements from "Treasure Island".

Wow! what a subject to find here...

I've never heard of any of the books mentioned (probably cause I haven't watched any of the modern version of the show yet), but I've read something like sixty Dr Who novels in my time.

Hey it ain't THAT sad, I was a kid, no internet, only 3 channels on UK television, i needed mass books!

The old ones were based on stories from the show, not original stories (the stories used to be about 3-5 episodes each, my daughter tells me one story per ep these days....)

I owned a box of approximately 45 books, from Patrick Troughton era to Tom Baker (lot of John Pertwee) which stayed with me until i sold them maybe ten years ago... to a geek, who gave me £30 and a couple books, and got very excited over one with a different colour logo...

If you see any of the old novels on your travels, pick one up, they're super-light reading but fun! A lot are wiritten by Terence Dicks who was a script writer and editor on the show for decades.

Jeez, what a boring old geek i do sound like, lol......
